This library is named in honor of Mrs. Lois and Dr. Buzz Aldrin, key supporters of The World is Just a Book Away. On July 20, 1969, Buzz and Neil Armstrong made their Apollo 11 moonwalk, becoming the first two humans to set foot on another world. This historic event was watched by an estimated 600 million people around.
