The World is Just a Book Away Jane Gooddall Library-SDN Ngaban serves 254 children in grades 1-6.
This library is named in honor of is Dr. Jane Goodall, world famous primatologist, conversationalist, and key supporter of The World is Just a Book Away. Among her many honors, she was named a Dame of the British Empire by Queen Elizabeth II and a UN "Messenger of Peace" by Secretary-General Annan. Dr. Goodall, spends most of the year traveling and educating people about the environment and animals. She also founded The Jane Goodall Institute (http://www.janegoodall.org) and Roots & Shoots (http://www.rootsandshoots.org), both of which promote improving the environment for all living things.
